Giving back is the whole point.
Santa Suscheck started this because he loves bringing joy to people who don't get enough of it — especially residents at senior centers and the nonprofits that serve them. That commitment comes first, and it's reflected in how visits are priced.
Because the people who've given the most deserve a visit from Santa too.

The story behind the costume
Meet Dr. Charles Suscheck
Behind the costume is Dr. Charles Suscheck — a proud resident of the Liberty Township area and an active member of the community for more than 10 years. He's a working musician, playing with local Irish bands and the Still Pines bluegrass band, as well as performing at several area churches. Professionally, Charles has spent years as a university professor across a variety of settings and now runs his own professional training and consulting business. He's been bringing Santa to life for three years and takes the craft seriously — you won't find a cheap felt suit or clumsy cotton hair here. That same care and passion for connecting with people — through music, in the classroom, and around town — is what makes every visit from Santa Suscheck feel genuine.

Frequently asked questions
How long should I book for?
Allow about one minute per child for gift giving, plus time for photos and conversation. For groups larger than about 15 children, a 45- or 60-minute visit works best.
Can guests take their own photos?
Yes — guests are always welcome to take their own. The Santa crew can also shoot and print take-home 4×6 keepsakes on-site for $15 per print.
Does Santa bring gifts?
Santa doesn't supply gifts, but he loves handing them out. Label each gift with the child's first name, put them in one bag, and leave it where Santa can pick it up discreetly before he comes in. For an extra-special visit, send Santa each child's name and one detail about them, such as a pet, a teacher, or a recent accomplishment, and he'll work it into the conversation.
How do I reserve a date?
A $50 deposit holds your date and is applied to your total. It is non-refundable except as described in our cancellation policy. Dates are not reserved until the deposit is received. The balance is due on the day of the visit; business clients can request an invoice payable 7 days before the event. Santa accepts Venmo, Zelle, and check. No deposit is required for complimentary senior center and nonprofit visits.
What is your cancellation policy?
With 30 or more days' notice, your deposit can be moved to another date this season. Cancellations with fewer than 30 days' notice forfeit the deposit, and cancellations within 7 days of the event are billed at 50% of the quoted total (your deposit counts toward this). If Santa has to cancel for any reason, you'll receive a full refund. For severe weather, Santa will reschedule or refund your deposit.
Do you travel beyond 50 miles?
Santa Suscheck's standard service area is a 50-mile radius of Liberty Township, Ohio. If you're just outside that range, reach out anyway — he's happy to check whether your location works.
Is Santa's beard real?
Santa wears a premium, professionally styled beard so he looks picture-perfect at every visit.
Does Santa belong to a professional Santa organization?
Yes. Santa Suscheck is a member of the International Brotherhood of Real Bearded Santas (IBRBS), a not-for-profit organization based in Phoenix, Arizona, and the world's largest organization of professional Santas, Mrs. Clauses, and supporting spouses. IBRBS offers its members education, local chapters, recognition programs, performer liability insurance, and background checks. Learn more at ibrbs.org.
Ready to book Santa Suscheck?
Tell him about your event — who it's for, when, and where — and he'll follow up to work out the details. Senior centers and nonprofits: don't hesitate to reach out, that's exactly who this is for.
Feel free to take your own photos with Santa — and if you'd like the crew's printed 4×6 keepsakes on-site, that's available too.
